Current Situation and the Strategic Enhancement of the Power of Chinese State-Owned Enterprises

Independent innovation is closely related to the survival, rise and fall of enterprises, and the enhancement of the power of independent innovation provides a good guarantee for the sustainable development of state-owned enterprises. Generally speaking, Chinese state-owned enterprises are rather weak in independent innovation. To enhance this power, it is necessary to foster an awareness of independent innovation from a strategic point of the state-owned enterprises; and funding for independent innovation should be increased; more importance should be attached to the training and introduction of technology professionals; cooperative innovation with other organizations should be strengthened; meanwhile emphasis should be laid on the integration of internal resources.
