Abstract :
An electric-machine unit of short-time operation consists of a synchronous generator with a flywheel and electric motor. This unit is used, in particular, for power supply of the thermonuclear fusion facilities and for the other electrophysical, technical and technological installations. The goal of the present work is the statement of the system method of characteristics prediction of the flywheel synchronous generator, which is to be worked out, at the stage of preproject, in the other words, at the stage of coming to a decision about the trend of future work on its design.
