Abstract :
This paper discusses detailed vibration mode analysis for the vibration motor in factory automation. Sinusoidal vibration for the speed servo command is illustrated. Different kinds of operating modes for the possible automatic process control are provided. Three basic and five extended vibration modes for different operation are suggested. Simulated and experimental results are compared to verify the formulation. This makes the production line more flexible so as to configure the servo control easily. Unlike the traditional mechanical way to regulate the blade angle for the vibration motor, the multi-mode vibration developed by the software approach is successfully provided. This is beneficial to the automatic production application
