Abstract :
The edge´s orientation obtained with the method of gray gradient orientation may be quite different from the real edge´s orientation, leading to deterioration of the high-pass filtering performance. This paper emphasizes on the influences of angle of edge´s orientation and the filter´s long axes on the filtering performance. And the primary scheme of an anisotropic high-pass filtering algorithm based on the influences is employed to obtain the better filtering performance. The experiment shows that using the algorithm put forward in this paper, we can obtain the more ideal filtering performance in high-pass filtering.
