Abstract :
The reduction of ships´ rolling with the help of anti-rolling techniques has been an important research topic recently. This paper investigates the moving rule of ships under heavy sea states. Rolling rules and pitching of ships under different encountering wave directions and ship speeds are discussed. Simulation analysis and comparison are given to anti-rolling equipments and integrated balance system of large ships and a conclusion that there are obvious advantages of integrated balance system is obtained.
