Abstract

The objectiveness of this research is to establish and make an empirical analysis of a five factor model of the competency of professional managers in tourism hotel industry, which namely, professional ability, administrative skills, innovation quality, morality accomplishment, and knowledge experience. Forty six hotels with different stars in different cities are chosen to be the objects of experimental research and a sample data of 446 actual members is collected. With SPSS15.0 and AMOS7.0, the sample data are used for exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.
