Abstract :
A quadrature bridge to compare 10 nF capacitances to the i=2 plateau of the quantized Hall resistance is being developed to realize the farad directly at a frequency of 1.233 kHz. Portable precision ceramic capacitance transfer standards of remarkable performance have been developed for this purpose.
