Abstract :
In terms of the electronic commerce (E-commerce) definition and its development history we find out that the emergence of e-commerce not only brought tremendous opportunities for society development, but also played a tremendous role in promoting modernization and information of enterprise management. The discussion from internal and external environments in this paper shows that E-commerce has become necessary as a strategy in business operation. According to the application of E-commerce in function processes of enterprise management, traditional management style and means need to be changed to enhance and upgrade enterprise´s competitiveness and advantage. The results provide support to the idea of the study and indicate that E-commerce must take strategic move rather than as an adjunct to existing institutions.
