Abstract :
In this paper, aiming to solve the problems of vegetation component is overestimated and is not sensitive to directional scattering features with traditional polarimetric SAR decomposition, a new decomposition method using a polarimetric interferometric similarity parameter (PISP) which is calculated from PolInSAR datasets to the scattering decomposition is proposed. The PISP of Building is high, and the PISP of vegetation is low. The proposed method using the PISP as a judge condition to select different vegetation models adaptively, the decomposition results can effectively solve the vegetation ingredients overestimation problem, In addition, the method is sensitive to the directional scattering.
