Abstract
A brief overview of AT&T´s methods for both single-link and sophisticated multilink private band digital radio applications is presented. Considerations in engineering private band digital radio which are discussed include: working with the customer to find a link/network solution meeting the customer´s needs; using high-quality, highly reliable digital radio technology; using state-of-the-art digital radio route engineering methodologies; and providing sophisticated alarm and performance monitoring (and analysis) capabilities to support maintenance
