Abstract :
This paper analyses controllability and observability of permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM) using the mathematic model of PMSM. Based on the analysis before a full order state observer is designed for stator flux observer. The observer is employed to PMSM direct torque control (DTC) system to substitute traditional pure integrator for stator flux observer. Simulation results have been presented and good performance has been achieved.
