Abstract
The properties of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environment and the specific requirements for sensors in MRI are addressed. A fiber-optic blood pressure sensor and its basic performance in a magnetic field are presented. Data from an in-vitro experiment are presented and discussed. Problems and the future development and optimization of such a sensor are discussed
