Abstract :
While distance video-examinations supervised on premise are widely used to evaluate students´ performance both in web-based and on-campus education, examinations supervised with the help of videoconferencing software are still uncommon. This is due to a number of technical, legal and human issues. This paper describes the background, design and practical implementation of a remotely supervised dis¬tance video-examination. Our approach was implemented, tested and evaluated in a course of a web-based distance-learning master´s program in Business Informatics.
