Abstract
For the implementation of high frequency measurements on magnetic coils there is often the need for excitation with high quality sinusoidal voltage waveform. The operation of a current fed sine wave converter and its control circuit are analyzed with special focus on the wide extension of the frequency operation range and the ease of frequency and output power adjustment. Its response to the change of several onboard characteristics is theoretically and experimentally investigated and several hints for the potential designer are given.
