Abstract :
This paper deals with un economic single-phase to three-phase converter that has a reduced number of switching devices and avoids the use of the input filtering inductance. The rectifier is able to operate with unity power factor. Sinusoidal PWM and space-vector modulation strategies are applied to the inverter. A new way to add zero-phase sequence using space-vector modulation has been proved.
