Abstract :
The author discusses a software package being used to assist government-furnished property (GFP) managers in a US Air Force Aeronautical Systems Division Systems Program Office (SPO). The software package, called the F-16 GFP MIS, was originally written in dBASE III+ and run on a stand-alone Z-248. The dBASE III+ code was converted to Clipper to be run on a Z-248 over a local area network (LAN) using the 10NET system. In addition, a number of enhancements were made to the F-16 GFP MIS, and user documentation was prepared
