Abstract :
The onboard Central Integrated Test System (CITS) for the B-1B aircraft is discussed, focusing on the CITS Expert Parameter System (CEPS). CEPS combines expert technology, conventional programming, and a large database to provide a maintenance diagnostics system for the B-1B aircraft. The CEPS concept builds on currently available resources and integrates them into a diagnostic tool which will aid the flight-line technician in B-1B maintenance performance. The authors present a brief background of CEPS and describe the major components of the system
