Abstract :
In this paper, a discrete fuzzy variable structure control is presented for the high-speed rail pantograph position control systems. This method carries insensitivity of the plant parameter variations and external disturbances. The fuzzy logic is applied for tuning effectively the control law. The control system stability is proved. Robust output performance is ensured. This method is applied to the position contact control of a high-speed rail system. Simulations verify that the proposed method indeed assures robustness against system uncertainties and disturbances.
