Abstract :
In this paper, a new method of resistance-examining for the results of field flow fractionation is presented, which can be used for separating resulting checking of separation technology using liquid separating carrier such as FFF, liquid chromatogram analysis, and so on. There is the difference of the detector with a detector having been used, which is that Wavelet Analysis has been used at the detector, so it´s structure is simple and easy to use. The designing method of the detector, the structure of the detector, the influence on the resistance for no particles in the liquid, and the characteristics of the resistance changing with the velocity of flow are discussed in the paper, the performance of the detector is also checked through the experiment of gravitational field-flow fractionation. The particle size distribution of wheat flour is detected at the experiment. The checking results show that the detector can complete evaluation of the result of field-flow fractionation very well, and has the advantages of simple structure, high sensitivity, and checking on-line.
