Abstract :
This paper presents a summary of an adaptive route optimization algorithm for routing of international voice calls using fuzzy logic. With the goal, that is to use the least cost route taking consideration of the quality of the call, the software gathers data in an almost real time manner from the network and take it as a deciding parameter together with the cost which is an input given by the user. Using fuzzy logic, the software picks the least possible route that is also having an accepted utilization at that time instant. The methodology, results and conclusion are presented in this paper.
