Abstract :
An adaptive per-survivor processing (PSP) algorithm is proposed to accurately decode the data and estimate the time-varying channels. With a variable step size parameter for a plurality of survivor paths, this new method eliminates the dependency of all the survivor paths and improves the convergence rate of channel estimation. It improves the performance of the original PSP, especially in the highly dynamic channels.
