  • Abstract
    The cost for the reposition of empty containers is very high. These issues from different angles have been researched by many scholars. According to the current realities, this paper researches the optimization of empty containers reposition from the angle of reducing the cost, and make use of linear programming method, formulate relatively model for in and out the ports or transferring of empty containers, and give an example to prove the model. At last, according to the results of the example, the model is reasonable and useful to solve these issues of the reposition of empty containers, and there is also a new quantitative analysis method for the research of the problem of single product low price.
