Abstract :
The paper deals with computer generation of pseudorandom numbers, random variables and stochastic processes. Inverse-transform method, composition method and acceptance-rejection method for generation of one-dimensional continuous variations are considered. Algorithms for simulation of the basic distributions (exponential, gamma, beta, normal binomial, Bernoulli, Poisson and geometric) are suggested. Examples and numerical results for conventional queuing networks are shown
