Abstract
The paper describes the implementation of an easily modified graphical user interface. Used to identify targets within radar images, the system was developed using the X Windows interface, the Tcl/Tk toolkit, and the “C” programming language. The user interface provides a means of applying algorithms to an input image. It allows for viewing results, producing statistics, and on the fly modification of algorithms. The entire system allows complete changes to algorithms, or the addition of algorithms without affecting existing functionality. The entire system is portable and has been run on both Sun and Silicon Graphics systems
