Abstract :
To increase maximum radar range, determined with effective radiated energy, pulse duration has to be expanded. However, a larger pulse increases the blind zone, i.e. the eclipsing effect is greater than before. The analysis given in this paper deals with the eclipsing effect on the receiver response in case of a phase coded train of various duration pulses. The Barker biphase sequence and P3 polyphase sequence are used as coding sequences
