Abstract
The secure satellite IP network (SSATIN) is a demonstration TDMA communications system designed to demonstrate access-on-demand and bandwidth-on-demand to the Australian military. The system operates in Ka-band regional and steerable spot beams of the Optus C1 satellite. This paper provides an overview of the system concept and its implementation.
