Abstract :
A combined process, demulsification-Fenton oxidation-coagulation, has been employed to treat a sort of high-strength and stable emulsion wastewater produced from a machinery factory. The influences of demulsifier species, dosage of Fenton reagents, oxidation reaction time and pH of coagulation have been investigated. The results indicate that AlCl3 is the most effective demulsifier and the optimal dosage of AlCl3 is 2.4g/L. The removal rates of CODcr are 91.18%, 76.95%, 65.79% by demulsification, Fenton oxidation and coagulation respectively. After the treatment by the combined process, the removal rate of CODcr is up to 98.94% and the turbidity and chromaticity tend toward 0 in comparison with raw wastewater with turbidity of 1030 NTU and chromaticity of 500.
