            Abstract :
The South TOTO Acoustic Measurement Faclility (STAFAC) is currently under development at the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) to become the NAVY´s subsurface moored East coast acoustic signature measurement facility. This paper discusses the mechanical design of the subsurface mooring system to support vertical acoustic arrays.
