Abstract :
Deep-sea fishes show distinct behavioral responses to manned submersibles and remotely operated vehicles (ROV´s). Here we provide preliminary evidence that such disturbance responses are mediated by a variety of factors including type of vehicle and environmental and species-specific constraints.
