  • Abstract
    It´s one of major accidents in the process of iron making that the hearth and bottom of the blast furnace was burn through. As the intensity of the blast furnace process improved, t hearth and bottom of the blast furnace have got easily been eroded which serious influence the life time of blast furnace. The work in this article is base on the model of three-dimensional mathematical, which simulate the flow field of blast furnace hearth, using the ANSYS-CFX. The simulate result shows the flow condition of the blast furnace hearth and finds the place which was scoured seriously, which is useful for prolonging the life of blast furnace.
