Abstract :
Original insulation resistance (IR) testers are mostly semi-mechanical megohmmeters of which a low accuracy, two displayed digital and failure in a tractor serving several purposes limit the megohmmeters usage and hide dangers. According to the testing principle and method of insulated resistor, the passage research the system which can be applied to measure the insulated properties of high-voltage(HV) apparatus based on SCM, the hardware circuit and software method was demonstrated. Experiment showed that the test system can measure the insulation resistance properly and accurately and display parameters, Compared with the traditional hand-cranked megohmmeters, megger based on SCM has light weight, simple operation, accuracy, test coverage is better than the pointer table, so it is the ideal instrument to replace the pointer table.
