Abstract
The combination of BPM&SOA has been considered a powerful strategy for companies to be more agile. However, integrating BPM and SOA has many challenges especially when composition of applications is envisaged. The main contribution of this work is to propose an integrated model that deals with the problem of service discovery over largely distributed software services providers, including QoS and processes´ semantics got from BPM layer. The large use of standards is highlighted as a key enabler element to enhance the envisaged agility. The article explains the problem and points out the involved issues, summarizes the related works, presents the model and its preliminary results, and ends with some conclusions.
