Abstract :
The paper presents a transient thermal analysis using RC-networks. The first major aspect is the numerical treatment of the mathematical model taking into account a large number of potentially non-linear elements. Secondly the prediction of the (temperature-dependent) thermal resistances and capacitances is subject to the investigation. Thirdly a comprehensive experimental study is done to validate the theory.
