Abstract :
In this paper, a new variant of the P-matrix model is described in detail. That variant is very useful for the design of SAW resonator filters because it takes into account propagation losses and provides relatively simple design formulas for uniform gratings and uniform IDTs with arbitrary electrode number. Also, a method showing how to combine the SAW filter and electronic circuit software is reported.
