Abstract :
Multiphase machines are getting increasingly common in electric traction. The prediction of the losses in multiphase machine is a fundamental step for the optimization of its design. The present paper deals with an experimental study of the behavior of the losses observed in double star induction machines (DSIM). We suggest a study of the losses through the measurements of the flux density (using sensors) and machine current stator.
