Advances in digitally modulated RF systems

The paper describes some digital communication techniques as they apply to RF links, and thereby provide an understanding of the benefits over prior analog methods. Finally, we examine a specific communication link, the radio broadcast studio-transmitter link (STL), where such a technological transformation has now taken place, allowing far superior link performance
