Contract Management in Viewpoint Specifications: Experiment in the Electrical Network and the SOA Domains

Present solutions of service integration lack of expression and verification means of service contracts. Contract management could raise the confidence level in service compositions. One of the challenges for contract management in frameworks like ODP (Open Distributed Processing) is to ensure trace ability of the contractual specifications from the enterprise viewpoint specification to the technology viewpoint specification. An answer to this challenge is to use a systematic process based on reliable - i.e. that preserve contractual specifications - construction techniques. This paper relates the experiment of such a process in the Electrical Network and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) domains.
