A spreadsheet performance approach to integrate a modeling hierarchy of software systems

The design of a high-performance complex software system is discussed. An approach called the spreadsheet performance approach (SPA) is presented that integrates a hierarchy of performance models at different levels. A methodology that uses this approach to design high-performance software systems is also defined. Finally, an example is investigated to show how the approach and the methodology can be applied
