Abstract :
This presentation provides an introduction to the implementation of process-based service oriented architecture (SOA) at a German publishing company. Based on the economic motivation to move the enterprise architecture to an SOA approach the presentation gives an overview of the methodology used to capture software requirements in business process models. Furthermore the presentation explains in detail how data models, services and technical processes have been derived from business process models to realize the implementation of business requirements in software systems.
