Abstract :
A space-time RAKE receiver employing a sliding-window LMS (SWLMS) algorithm is proposed. It is shown that this receiver is not only able to combat multipath fading, but is also near-far resistant. In addition, the proposed receiver is applicable to a CDMA system with either periodic or aperiodic signature codes. In comparison with the normalized LMS (NLMS) and Wiener solution, the performance of the proposed receiver is investigated by theoretical analysis and computer simulations
