Abstract :
Merry P.E " bud in Japan in 1960s-70s. Since the 1980s, along with the beginning of the reform of Physical Education, the thought of Merry P.E spread quickly and widely all through China. Merry P.E is put forward to solve the problem of students\´ sports-weariness and to develop sports ideas and lifetime sports. As an educational thought, its basic core is: how to strive to make physical education through a variety of measures to achieve a relatively perfect situation of "happy to teach and happy to learn", and how to establish a scientific and comprehensive education thought of Merry P.E. In physical education classes, the dominant position of the students should be respected and they should be enabled to experience all the fun when mastering skills and doing physical training. By experiencing the fun of sports, the students gradually form the ambition and habit of lifelong sports.
