The Security Analysis of Graphical Passwords

Nowadays, graphical password has not been widely used in practical. Most of the graphical password authentication schemes are only discussed in laboratory. In this paper, some typical graphical password authentication schemes are introduced, and the security of them are analyzed according to its estimate criterions. One conclusion is drawn that the memorability and security of graphical password are better than that of text-based password. In addition, it´s shown that the graphical password scheme has better resistance to major password attacks than others.
