Abstract :
An approach to ultrawide band mobile communications based fibre optic distribution of millimeter wave (MMW) signals and spread spectrum modulation is proposed. Experimental results of transmission at 40 GHz using an external optical modulator (EOM) as a subcarrier biphase modulator are compared with theoretical and simulated predictions. Initial results of propagation over indoor paths are reported
