Abstract
The problem of delay-range-dependent robust Hinfin control for uncertain systems with time-varying delays and parameter uncertainties is investigated in this paper. The time delay is assumed to be a time-varying continuous function belonging to a given range. By introducing some free weighting matrices and by exploiting a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, which includes the information of the range of the time delay, some new delay-range-dependent criteria on stability, stabilization and the existence of a Hinfin controller are proposed in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). These developed results enjoy less conservatism than some existing ones. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and the advantages of the proposed method.
