Abstract
We propose an adaptive permission probability control scheme for the random request access in the receiver-oriented DS/CDMA systems that dynamically controls the permission probability in response to the variation of the traffic load. This scheme intends to improve the packet delay performance and avoids the system breakdown in very high traffic load. For a comparative evaluation we use computer simulation. The results show that the proposed scheme achieves its design goal
