  • Abstract
The new intelligent network (IN) environment implies new paradigms. The authors focus on the paradigm shift reflected in the call-processing data of intelligent network elements. They believe that there are major differences in characteristics of call processing data between IN elements and traditional switches. These differences require distinct pro-active technical and organizational/managerial plans for successful introduction of IN
