  • Abstract
The influence of Pb content, sintering temperature, and soaking time on the formation and transformation of the two kinds of high-T c superconducting phases in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system is studied. The 110 K phase increases with the sintering temperature and soaking time within a certain region. Partial substitution of Pb for Bi greatly increases the 110 K phase in a sample with a nominal composition of Bi1-xPbxSrCaCu2Oy; the optimum Pb content is about x=0.2
