Abstract :
Due to continuous increase of flight, some domestic airports apply wide-distance parallel runways. For security reasons, the width is higher than standard value of independent parallel approach, which resulting in substantial increase in construction. This study focuses on the collision risk related to independent parallel approaches and the rang of collision risk can be judged acceptable. Based on the study of risk assessment index, we provide new index which suitable for independent parallel approaches. Based on the ICAO, we provide a range of safety level for the new index. A risk model is developed for determination of the collision risk value between aircraft conducting independent parallel approaches under Instrument Meteorological. This study focus on key link of process, not only provide ways to reduce the risk of collision, but also give some advises for planning and construction of airports. At present, the domestic and foreign research parallel runways effective operation mode has achieved some staged progress, but lack for independent parallel instrument approach operating modes security index and target security levels. This article from the independent parallel instrument approach collision risk, puts forwards fit into nearly safety assessment of the new index, and set up a new index level of security range. There are a lot of Statistical risk assessment indexes. Generally, people will synthetically utilize various indexes to achieve quantitative purpose. Based on the synthesis factors, and parallel double runway landing safety analysis, take the following two kinds of indexes: (1) the collision probability per approach commonly used, up to now, for evaluation of the risk during the approach part of a flight; (2) the collision probability per year. It takes into account the runway capacity, and consequen
