  • Abstract
    Based on the analysis of passengers´ whole travel process and choice characteristics of transportation mode, this article studies the factors of distribution ratios of passenger flows in inter-city transportation corridor. From the point of inter-city traffic integration and the entire travel chain, we introduce generalized cost function, and improve traditional multi-dimensional Logit model, to establish intermediate-short distance, multi-mode, and large capacity rational distribution ratios model of passenger flows on inter-city transportation corridor, which uses maximum likelihood method to calibrate the parameters of the model. From the point of whole effectiveness optimization and integration of transport modes´ convergence, it analyzes the relationship between transportation convergence and transfer in the transportation corridor. Finally, a case analysis is made to be combined with Guangzhou Qingyuan inter-city transportation corridor, and verifies the established passenger flow distribution ratios model´s feasibility, and predicts the changes of distribution ratios after the completion of inter-city rail transit in the future.
