On the Location of Financial Services Organizations in Shanghai City

We find that spatial distribution of financial services organizations in Shanghai City is uneven by the calculation of financial services location quotient in different Shanghai districts and counties, which agglomerate in Pudong New Area, Huangpu, Jing´an and Luwan District. With google, baidu and other search engines in accordance with the zip code, we find that the organizations of commercial banking, securities, insurance and futures intensively agglomerate in Lujiazui Finance & Trade Zone and Bund financial Agglomerative Zone, and make further discussion. Finally, we make the conclusion that the back-office organizations of financial services in Shanghai City is still in a process from agglomeration to intensively agglomeration.
